Art SpellingsArt Spellings moved to NYC in 1980 following receipt of a BFA from John Herron School of Art, Indianapolis, where he was on scholarship for three and a half years and thrice received the Outstanding Sculptor Award.  He currently lives and works in Brooklyn.

His work has been exhibited nationally at the Brooklyn Museum, P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center (MoMA Affiliate), The Wadsworth Athenaeum, the Santa Barbara Museum, the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the Cincinnati Contemporary Arts Center, and internationally, in Germany, France, Spain, Finland and Sweden.  His work is in numerous public and private collections.
